Great Fall weather

We've had some increadible weather the last few days - sunny and in the high 60's.  I've been fortunate to get some good runs in along the waterfront, intentially skipped the 6:20 boat last night to get a longer run in and did around 7-miles, that felt good.  Tonight got just under 40-minutes of running in and logged 4.75 miles so I'm feeling good about the training this week.

I have really enjoyed the new Matthew West CD "Story of your Life" http://www.matthewwest.com/ and it's been great to see, and hear, God speak though these lyrics in two (2) songs - "Strong Enough" and "One Less".  We have some dear friends that are in the final stages of adopting a young girl from Israel and the mom flew over last weekend expecting to complete paperwork and final governement interviews.  Well, to say the least it has not gone as expected with some major roadblocks thrown up - we've been praying and I would ask that you too pray for Sissi and the entire adoption process.  I've been specifically praying that God will work in a supernatural way and clear and level the path and that the Mom is encouraged and strengthened in God through the emotional roller coaster she is going through and in all this that she will stop relying on her own strength and wisdom and rest in the promises of God, that she will be be lifted up as if on the wings of eagles and will run and not grow weary - please pray along with us for this situation.
